I have here made only a nosegay of culled flowers,
and have brought nothing of my own
but the string that ties them.

As the above words of Seigneur de Montaigne imply, there is nothing here that you don’t already know. But if you are anything like I am, indeed––like most of my friends, then you seldom find time, or take the trouble, to reach within deep enough to become aware of your knowledge. I hope this book will help you to know yourself better.

What follows is not intended as a scientific dissertation. Nor is it an attempt to impose my views, nor influence your thinking in any way. What I am offering is a compendium of my observations, which may motivate you to begin observing the world through your own eyes a little more diligently. You might call it my vision of the world I live in. To protect myself from an egocentric viewpoint, I took great pains to share with you also the visions of many men throughout history, many men and women who are making history today, and some lesser visionaries whose views I find particularly attractive. Your vision, the program that controls your views and therefore your life, will forever remain your own. I wish to stress, however, that you must have a vision or else remain no more than an effect of your subconscious.

I am not concerned with the visible universe.

Once the universe becomes detectable to our senses, it is too late to change it. The book will show that we have our being within a continuous process of creating the reality we live in.
I am fascinated by the process itself. There are excellent popular books on the subject of how to procure results. Here, we shall concentrate on the cause. Although we shall not ignore the results, neither physics nor astrophysics need concern us here, other than to broaden our perspective. What we shall discus principally is the “Visual Universe”. The universe which we do or can visualize and, in the process of doing so, we shall give it reality. The tangible universe thus becomes the result of our quest, not the quest itself. What we are after is the process. The Creative Process. The methods which empowers us to be as gods.

From the hoary days of history in which we, humans, became aware of ourselves, of our distinctiveness, we have been engaged in doing just that. Every single one of us has been creating his or her subjective realities. We made our beds and we must sleep in them. We created our heavens and our hells. We did it all unwittingly. We had no idea that it had been up to us what world we chose to live in. We became adept at blaming the stars, the governments, schools and educational systems, and finally our parents. It may be that all these elements had some peripheral influence on the universes we live in. But the degree to which we permit external conditions, or the environment, to influence us, has always been up to us. Up to our free will. Up to our ability to lead a Conscious Life.

It is time to stop being a result. It is time to stop bobbing up and down like a cork cast by some whimsical deity on the vast oceans of life. We are the architects of our destiny. We are gods.

It is time to learn to be the Cause.

In the course of this book, I shall prove that neither you nor I, nor the universe around us really exists. At least, not as we perceive it with our senses. We shall have to learn to probe it with our mind, to visualize it with our inner vision. I shall also show how an individual vision can and did change the course of history.

Perhaps now, it is our turn.

Well known personalities in the world have been quoted on saying that this law of attraction is the secret to life. In other words, it is actually the power that curves your destiny. The fact that it neutral and it can never be influenced makes this law work easily.

Even though we may not be aware, this very law is always in action in everyone’s daily life. The fact is that you can actually learn on how to apply this law of attraction through positive thinking and then notice the difference. By finding ways of applying this law, you can raise your general self esteem.

Create the desire: It all starts with your mindset. You have to set a clear, deliberate desire for something and be excited about it. Combine this with the faith that indeed you will have it. Ensure that your emotions are at par. That is to say; you can’t have negative feelings and disbelief about what you desire. This vibration of positive feelings towards your desire is a sign that you are committed and ready to get it.

They say actions speak louder than words and how true this is! Accompany your positive thought with action. Our actions reflect our thoughts; in other words, we act on what we think. You don’t dream of getting wealthy without doing anything about it, remember? By focusing on how to attain that which you want, you are pushing away any resistance or barriers that may stop you from doing just that.

Focus on how to attain what you want and push aside resistance or other barriers that may hinder you from doing what you want.

The law of attraction can be applied in changing fears, doubts or failures into success, health, wealth and a good lifestyle. This will help you to balance your life and define your future. This means you will have some great virtues in life and achievements. Many will want to associate with you and some will see you as their mentor. You will be happier and feel more fulfilled through learning how to apply the law of attraction effectively.

Thus we have the new age thinking on the Law of Attraction. The new age thinkers believe that a person’s thoughts, (both conscious and unconscious), dictate the reality of their life. It is believe that whether or not we are aware of our thoughts it affects our lives. So if you really want something and truly believe it’s possible, you’ll get it”, but putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don’t want means you’ll probably get that too.

So is it all true?  Well some scientific critics would argue that it is immeasurable, therefore it is unscientific, questioning the likelihood that thoughts can affect anything outside the head. Some medical professionals suggest it could even lead to a blame-the-victim mentality. Actually leading to a somewhat volatile thinking, this could be dangerous to those suffering from serious illness or mental disorders.

In 1937, author Napoleon Hill published, Think and Grow Rich which become one of the bestselling books of all time, selling over 60 million copies. The concept of his book?  Well, he discusses the importance of controlling your own thoughts in order to achieve success, and the concept of the energy thoughts have and their ability to attract other thoughts. Napoleon refers to a “secret”.  It is never named directly, for he believed that discovering it on one’s own is far more beneficial. Many people have argued over what the secret actually is, but there is a general conception that the secret he referred to is, in fact, the Law of Attraction.

When you search the internet there are 14,900,000 sites that have information pertaining to or that mention the Law of attraction. Of these sites there are several of them that offer something, a free course, a dvd for sale, a book for sale or in some cases the ability to down load a portion of the book to entice its viewers to purchase the book.

I guess the bottom line is do you believe in what you are being sold. If you do, are you prepared to do what it takes to implement the new age law of attraction theory? May be you are the kind of thinker who believes that it only works for the other guy. May be this theory is in contradiction with your religious beliefs.

Albert Einstein once expressed “All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man’s life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.”

So is the Law of attraction for real? The truth is, I don’t know. It might be, it might not. However, consider this. Does it feel good, do you feel that you benefit from the theory?  Finally, yet importantly, do you believe that the theory improves the quality of your life and the life of the people around you?

If you answered yes to these questions, then does it really matter if we know the answer to the reality of whether the law of attraction theory is real?

It is my belief that it is in the changes that belief finds its conception.

Try to match styles.  The style of the display should parallel the style that the customer is looking for.  In a boutique, this can mean a lot of different things.  Are you customers looking for funky, sophisticated, or glamorous?    Strive to have each display show something special about the product involved.  Make it as obvious as possible that this product meets the expectations of the customer.

It is important to maintain the customer’s trust when you create a display.  By trust, I mean that every aspect of your customer’s experience in your boutique affects the way that they think about you.  Turning someone into a loyal customer is the same as turning them into a trusted friend.  They have to “trust” that what you are showing them is true in order to trust you with their business and their good opinion.

You need to focus on showing the customer what they need to see to build that trust.  That means being consistent with your quality and price image.  If you have small signs, refined decorations, and high price tags, then you are promising the customer that you are selling unique, high quality merchandise.  If you are selling bargain priced apparel in big bins with large sale prices, then your customer should expect that they are going to get some good deals, but the merchandise won’t be of a high quality.

Next you need to make the customer comfortable shopping in your boutique.  Nobody wants to dig through deep bins of wrinkled clothes to find what they want.  They also don’t want to squeeze between crowded racks, back to back with other customers, or waiting for their turn at the garment rack.  You will need to create space for them to move around and leisurely shop at their own pace.

The law of attraction states that what you think about and feel about the most will attract more things into your life that match or mirror those very same feelings and thoughts. Now, we can begin to control this on a conscious level. It takes time and practice to get good at it, however, it pays in dividends. So basically if you think and feel negative emotions most of the time, you are going to attract more people, situations and things into your life that sustain those emotions and thoughts. If you are a sad person most of the time you are going to attract things into your life that sustain that emotion of being sad. If on the other hand you learn to see and think and feel much more positive in your world then you are going to start to attract more people, situations and things into your life that will sustain those positive thoughts and emotions.

The trick to this is learning to watch what we are thinking about and how we are feeling. Most people simply wonder through life with no awareness of what they are thinking or feeling until after it is a part of the past, if even then.
